Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte
Once the holidays are over, the wait begins as we look forward to the return of Fall and our favorite Pumpkin Chai Lattes. Not sure why we stop drinking it….it’s sooooo good! Chaikhana Chai Green Tea chai concentrate recipe calls for an extra amount of fresh whole ginger resulting in a subtle warming sensation on your taste buds. Maybe that’s what blends perfectly with the pumpkin flavor. With a low sugar amount (only 9 sugar grams in an 8 oz. drink) our Green Tea Chai concentrate mixes well with Monin’s “Pumpkin Spice” flavored syrup. The pumpkin flavor comes through without creating an overly sweet taste. (We prefer Monin’s Pumpkin Spice syrup with it’s smooth, less sweet spicy-pumpkin flavor.)
TO MAKE A GREEN TEA PUMPKIN CHAI LATTE Measure the chai and syrup into your mug. Stir in your choice of milk (preferably unsweetened) and heat together. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice mix. Now add a plate of home made ginger snaps and you’re all set for an excellent afternoon!

16 oz. drink = 2 3/4 oz Green Tea – HoneyGinger chai concentrate + 3/4 oz Monin Pumpkin Spice Syrup
20 oz. drink = 3 1/2 oz Green Tea – HoneyGinger chai concentrate + 1 oz Monin Pumpkin Spice Syrup
